The Abandoned City / Re: Downtown ((The Warps))

The impatience of the obstinate boy, as well as that very tempermental reaction, only makes Dominica's mouth quirk just slightly higher. It did amuse her. Especially as she knew the truth. He'd have to come to her if he was looking for something. Information was her forte, her specialty. It made her internally laugh that he'd neatly boxed himself in. Her eyes move to the other boy, by far the more level headed of the twosome. "Well, querido, if I were going to stalk the two of you, what sort would I be to admit it? And the games here, precioso, are not of my making or my own. I just operate within their rules. And rules say, you've got to earn your desserts. Nothing free. As it seems that your friend does not understand the rules and goings on, I'll have to hope that you can lead him from his wayward path. And once he realizes the grand joke, I'll see you at my tavern. You'll have better luck finding it, I think. It can sell many things most wouldn't know were able to be purchased." She dropped as a quiet hint. She gave a bow and blew a kiss at both. "Adios, little ones." She waved, before stepping deep into the shadows and being gone from sight and senses, made entirely invisible, or so it appeared.

Her smirk grew wider. "Torito wants to test his horns, hmm? Got something to prove, little one? Young men don't change. Is it the mask? The language? If you need a translation, I'll offer it." She replied almost innocently. Not once did she shift herself from her relaxed stance against the wall. "Besides, information doesn't come cheap, and there's a lot for sale here. Though I don't think you could buy your life back, making that mistake. The local color doesn't take too kindly to a newcomer attacking their own. Next thing you'd know, someone might just be teaching you a lesson you'll not forget. Likely me." Naught but a flick of her wrist could be seen, but the sound of something very nearly striking his hand upon his blade, and actually glancing off the hilt itself can be heard. "Now, behave little one. Or I will take out both of your hands. There is little more pathetic than a swordsman without his hands." Still amused her tone was, but his own senses can find no lie. This butterfly might be just a bit dangerous.

That smirk didn't leave her face for a second. "Querido, don't waste your time conning the artist." She said sagely, letting him gather what he would from it, without embarrassing him. "If I told you where to find it, that wouldn't tell me whether you deserve to know what I know. I can't teach you how to have eyes and ears and use them. Not my job, anyway." Her hazel eyes slid to the one sketching the bow, and she too gave a bow of a little less than equal depth. Her eyes didn't lower for a second. "Watch about following the blind, precioso. They'll run you into walls every single time. Now, you both know that any treasure to be found has likely been found? You're not the first young and ambitious twosome that's been seen." She leaned against the wall, her face half in shadow, but revealed enough to see who she looked at. "By all means, torito. Seek your fortune. Cuidado con el fuego." She directed at the clearly obstinate one of the pair. "Just call me the Butterfly until either one of you boys gets clever enough to figure out my real name."

A soft chuckle broke the relative silence of the abandoned place. "It's not very smart to wander such places. Planetside is deadly, don'tcha know? You certainly have more to fear than little ol' me. You are both young. My, my. You two go on ahead, if you like. But if you manage to make it back out, be sure to come see me at the tavern, long as you can find it. Ask for the Butterfly. We'll see how sharp you two are. You got a third heading in. Silly boys." The woman stepped out of the shadows. The sugared cinnamon scent around her faded down a bit more. Her hazel green eyes gleamed with a wicked amusement, her mouth smirking. It was difficult to make out the shape of her face and bones with the ivory Venetian mask that sat over her face, revealing naught but her mouth to be seen. The rest of her is obscured fairly well by the ever shifting cloak. Currently, it blended with the shadows.

A tap tapping comes from behind both of the boys, but quickly fades off until silence falls around them again. Both very clearly feel that they are being watched, and as they move, the feeling doesn't abate. To the eyes, there is nothing to see, to the ears, absolute silence. Keen noses can scent out some sort of strange and sweet note in the air.

Luxury incarnate, each room is equipped to become what it needs to be to suit the wishes of the individual staying in the room. The prices are high, but the amenities are worth it. There are further possibilities to be had, and typically, the boss sees to any high profile guest that stays. There's always a list of offerings to be chosen from. And none will ever disappoint.

Flesh sells, as the saying goes, and flesh can be found in these four clubs, each themed differently. One is goth, another is very much oriental themed. Another has a very island theme to it, and the fourth has a very adult fantasy theme to it. There are shows for the men and shows for the women. Drinks are free with the purchase of a VIP pass, which also comes with other perks. To find out more, it's encouraged that people seek out the boss.

Each cas!no has a full compliment of tables for Hold 'Em, Black Jack and Five Card Stud. Craps Tables and Roulette Tables surround the slots areas, and the ****s have their own bar. With the purchase of a package, any drinks on the house, three square meals per day and a luxury room come inherent. The environment is very fast paced and exciting, and eye candy abounds of both the male and female persuasion.

Hollywood Babylon / The Dance Floors
« on: December 05, 2012, 10:02:08 pm »
At different levels, and always near bars, each dance floor has different music piped into it, ranging from good dance music, so latin beats, to hip hop, into jazz and even big band and swing music. They are large areas, well lit and well taken care of. The lights are colored and flashing, painting the dancers in them. Taxi dancers can be found on the floor to offer their services as a dance partner. The men and women here move with an otherworldly grace, and have an exotic beauty that is near to impossible to place.

Hollywood Babylon / The Bars

Each bar, apart from being beautifully and seductively lit, is entirely set up to make any mixed drink or cocktail in existence properly. Aside from that, each has it's specialty, whether it be various whiskeys, wines, illicit beverages such as absinth and other tasty novelty items. The first taste is always free, as this seems to be one of the many mottos of this place. The waiters and waitresses that see to the needs of everyone are all equally attractive and friendly, thoroughly focused upon each patron having the time of their lives. So long as the money flows, so do the drinks.
