The feeling of steel cutting through cement welcomes Rei telling him that he missed his attack. "Tch," the young swordsman tsked, but he knew better than to mope about the loss; he was trained better than that. Thinking fast, the teen divided his barrier into 2 parts; one collapsed inward to make a sort of weak vibration armor around Sikuro. It wouldn't protect him completely from Quake's wave and vibration-based attacks, but it WOULD mitigate most of their debilitating attacks.

The remaining shell of a barrier was strengthened slightly and sent outward in a weak shockwave. Just like sonar, the wave reverberated off of the surroundings and returned to Rei giving him a detailed analysis of the area. And all of this happened in mere fractions of a second as his sword carved through the street.

"HAAA!!!!" Rei yelled, and made his move; using the momentum from his missed attack, he spun focusing the sound of his blade carving through the ground and his own yell around his blade. Once his weapon was adequately charged, he slashed upward at Quake launching the charged soundwave into the air. However, his target was not the blind warrior, it was the disco ball he had just created for some, as of yet, unknown purpose.

Clenching his teeth to brace himself, the soundwave hit the shell at an angle, knocking it out of the sky. Of course, the sound-based weapon sends out an ear-splitting backlash from the attack, but the warrior was ready for it. The teen spins again absorbing as much energy as he could from the backlash and focuses it around his free fist, which he then slams into his opponent's gut as he attempts to run past him.

"Fly AwaaaAAAAY," he yells as his fist shakes from the power of the attack. A shockwave attempts to fly out as a result of the punch, but if it hits home, Rei refocuses the shockwave into the punch 3 times intensifying it even further before he finally pushes through in an explosive punch sending Quake flying back through several buildings at high speeds. The now released shockwave was focused mostly into Quake, but the remainder of the force shattered the windows of every building on the street as the teen stood shaking his hand. Normally, such an attack would have likely exhausted the user. But since all of the power used was borrowed to begin with, the warrior felt no real fatigue as he watched the direction Quake had flown off in.

"So, how's it feel being on the receiving end of your own powers?" Rei asked rhetorically. Though his question implied that the fight was over, he kept his guard up knowing better than to underestimate anyone that could take on one of the 3 kings.

((As an alternate, if the attack misses, it will completely obliterate the building behind Quake. I mean, shatter it into tiny little pieces. Lol! xD))

Rei blinked at Sikuro's reaction and he shook his head, "no! Close, but no... kinda..." For a second, Rei rubs his chin pondering something. In the end, he shakes his head and pats Sikuro's shoulder. "Either way, I'm no threat to you my friend... for now... now c'mon! There's someone I want to meet up ahead!" Rei then grins and runs off to the western side of the city. He doesn't really force Sikuro to come along, but he hopes that he does.

"Ah, okay," Rei said as his shoulders slacked with relief, "well that's cool then; good for you!" The teen then smiled and turned away from Sikuro with a hand on his chest to calm his beating heart. "He's a normal immortal. Good...," he thought to himself with a relieved sigh and then started to walk away.

If Kurei doesn't follow, then Rei will eventually turn and call back to see if he will, if he does then he'll simply lead on as he tries to figure out where to go next. Eventually though, the teen will head towards the part of town where he felt that familiar presence, whether Kurei follows or not.

"That's none of your concern and if I wanted to fight you, then I would've attacked you," Rei said curtly, then froze in his tracks as he noticed something else Sikuro had said. His blood running cold and his anger vanishing as he looked at Sikuro with wide eyes. "Wait... what did you just say that you were...'immortal'?"

Rei blinked at Sikuro's explaination, the way he spoke of "staying calm in order to gather info" actually reminded him a bit of his true partner humbling him a bit as it reminded him that he still had a lot to learn. However, the teen was still very much so offended by the woman. So when Sikuro spoke of finding the woman's tavern, he merely tsked and kicked a nearby desk.

"Do what you want, I need to go find something to break," he said irritably and began walking back the way they'd came. Once he reached the front, he kicked the front door open with his hands in his pockets and stalked off down the street sulking not really caring whether Sikuro followed him or not for now.

Despite the warnings, his rage and pride as a swordsman edged the teen to start to draw his blade even after Dominica's mysterious object glanced off the hilt of his weapon. However, facts were facts, and in the end, the young man knew that there was nothing he could do physically to harm this woman and stood down. The glow around his body fading as he re-sheathed his sword and turned away from the woman.

"Kh!" Rei grunted grinding his teeth and kicked an empty bucket on the floor sending it clattering along the floor. All the while swearing vengeance against the woman in his head. Yup, Dominica had just made Rei's sh.it list.

Rei sighed at Sikuro, " Yes we do, my name is--" Suddenly, the teen is cut off by the woman's monologue and his feet instantly slide apart as he crouches into a stance as he looked around for it's source. Eventually, he found it in the form of a woman stepping out of the shadows and he immediately attempted to sense what she could do by feeling her presence with his channeling powers.

While his abilities were at work, the teen smirked back, putting on airs so that the woman wouldn't realize that she nearly had the drop on him. "Where there's danger there's treasure! So I'll take my chances, " Rei said stubbornly, his grip tightening on the hilt of his blade, " and why bother with the games? Just tell us where the tavern is and perhaps we'll stop in for a pint one day!"
