"Theatric as always eh Quake," Rei asks with a smirk as he approaches the bottom of the building the warrior was sitting on with his hands in his pockets. He had never met the warrior himself but he had heard about him from his partner, "you know, I was just thinking about how I needed to pound someone's face in right now; want to volunteer?"

One hand drifted out of his right pocket and rested on the hilt of the blade strapped across his lower back as he awaited the man's reply. Even though he issued his challenge in such a brazen way, he still knew better than to take this man lightly.

"Ah, okay," Rei said as his shoulders slacked with relief, "well that's cool then; good for you!" The teen then smiled and turned away from Sikuro with a hand on his chest to calm his beating heart. "He's a normal immortal. Good...," he thought to himself with a relieved sigh and then started to walk away.

If Kurei doesn't follow, then Rei will eventually turn and call back to see if he will, if he does then he'll simply lead on as he tries to figure out where to go next. Eventually though, the teen will head towards the part of town where he felt that familiar presence, whether Kurei follows or not.

Rei is also unfazed by the shockwave, as unless Kurei did something to the block, there wouldn't be a shockwave, just a slight shake of the ground and a small crater. However, his eyes remained on the younger looking man as his brows furrowed, his head turning away from him slightly in an inquisitive look.
"Wait, you mean 'immortal' as in 'the kind that live forever' right," he asked nervously as though there were a different kind of "immortal" out there.

"That's none of your concern and if I wanted to fight you, then I would've attacked you," Rei said curtly, then froze in his tracks as he noticed something else Sikuro had said. His blood running cold and his anger vanishing as he looked at Sikuro with wide eyes. "Wait... what did you just say that you were...'immortal'?"

Suddenly, the teen stopped, his body again beginning to glow. The glow turns sandy yellow, and the teen whips around spinning past Sikuro with fury in his eyes and stomps the sidewalk behind him. Suddenly, the building collapses in on itself becoming half the height it was previously. Not unlike the earth-benders from Avatar, Rei made a short series of movements; heavy punch, to heavy sweep, to another heavy stomp bending the building into a large, dense, floating boulder.

The sandy glow fades to a clear, nearly transparent color and the boulder starts to fall to the ground. Meanwhile, the teen grips the hilt of his blade as the wind kicks up around him and he unsheathes the blade in a spinning slash at the boulder, though he was nowhere near it and the gust of wind flies off at it.

Finally, the teen ends by re-sheathing his blade with his eyes closed facing Sikuro. "Too easy; I need to find someone to destroy," Rei then steps past Sikuro and begins walking down the sidewalk as the boulder crashes to the ground and explodes into neatly sliced, 2x2 cubes of cement, metal, and other junk that scatters about the street and now vacant lot where the building used to be. Each one cratering the ground where it landed due to it having the weight of at least 1/6th of each floor of the previously 20 story building.
