Rei's eyes widen at Kurei's sudden transformation and he tenses up a bit at the unknown, though he doesn't show his discomfort outwardly. Once Sikuro makes his suggestion, Rei calms down. Yet he still remains wary even when he turns his eyes away from the vampire to look inside the shop behind him.

"Cool trick Sikuro-san! And normally I would disagree with your suggestion but seeing as these places seem abandoned, it should be alright..." With that, the teen stood and took a few steps forward to pick a random brick up off of the sidewalk. Then, he turns and casually tosses it through the window and walked towards it, broken glass crunching beneath his feet as he raised his foot and kick out the larger shards still stuck in the window pane. "Alright then, let's go," the teen said and hops inside without touching the pane even though he had just cleared it of glass. It seems that he had cleared it more for Sikuro to pass through safely than for himself.

"Pfft!!!" Rei barely stifles a chuckle at Kurei's statement. Once he calms down, he throws his hands behind his head and looks into the windows of the random buildings as he walks past them. His frown starting to fade as he notice all of them have one thing in common; they are empty husks, devoid of anything of value or use (at least on their first few floors) and any intelligent life that might have dwelled in the city before was long gone...

"Ugh, how depressing; there doesn't seem to be anything here," the teen says sighing in frustration. He lashed out kicking the base of a random street light before leaning back against the windows of one of the buildings. "What a drag! I came out here hoping to find a new sword, yet now it seems like I'm gonna haveta return empty handed! Sikuro-san! Do you know if there's anything cool around here!?"

Luckily, the teen wasn't cut, but he sucked on his finger for a moment anyway as he also looked around. "Nice to meet you too! Even though you also stole my name... Anyway, there doesn't seem to be anything interesting here. Let's try over there," the teen proclaimed pointing in a random direction and beginning to walk down the street. His hands returned to his pockets as he began humming a little tune.

"Whoa!!!" Rei's eyes widen in surprise as Kurei's wings form and he uses them to blow by Rei towards the ground. When the man first does so, the gusts of wind from his flapping wings throw Rei off sending him into a midair tumble. However, somehow, not only does the teen right himself, but he also goes streaking off through the air in a spiral flying without wings after Kurei. As the winged man lands and stretches in the city streets below, the wing-LESS one follows shortly after coming to a hovering stop in front of Kurei with his hands in his pockets and a big grin on his face.

"Wow so you have wings huh? That's pretty cool," Rei says pulling his left hand from his pocket to touch Rei's right wing. As soon as he does so however, he flinches with a his yanking his hand back and shaking it as though he just touched something hot. "Ow! And their pretty sharp too!" Finally, the teen's feet calmly drift to the ground as he checks his finger to see if he got cut by the wing's sharpened feathers.

"WHAAAT," Rei called back to Kurei as he falls, turning his body slightly so that the air wouldn't be yanked from his lungs as he fell, "I CAN'T MAKE OUT WHAT YOUR SAYING, MAYBE YOU SHOULD WAIT UNTIL WE LAND!!!"

It was true, the rush of wind about the teen's ears would, in theory, disrupt the sound of Kurei's voice before it could reach Rei, but somehow, the smile on his face as he turned to look back at Kurei made it seem as though that's not what had happened. But then, he blinks and somehow, drifts closer to Kurei. Even though it still seemed like he was falling.

"Hey, I kinda assumed that you did seeing as you jumped off with me but, you do have a way to land safely right?" For the first time since Kurei met him, Rei actually looks a bit concerned and serious when he asks this question.
